So, um, basically, fair warning: Hellfire Peninsula is a *miserable* zone. But it gets better! Well, it doesn't get better, BUT, you can go to Zangarmarsh, which is SO PRETTY, after a couple of levels and never look back. (I didn't, anyway.) Seriously, Hellfire Peninsula is like all the misery of Durotar only actually WORSE.
I did feel better that Alliance has to suffer through its ugliness and the scary fucking wandering elite mobs too, though. (I still have trauma over the @#&$ing Sons of Arugal, oh my god, seriously, I got two-shotted by the damn thing and had no fucking CLUE what had hit me, just that OH LOOK RANDOMLY I AM DEAD, what the hell. NOT THAT I AM BITTER ABOUT THAT EXPERIENCE OR ANYTHING.)
