I finished re-reading the Harry Potter books. I still think the epilogue is kind of weak, and I think book 6 is still my least favorite, but overall, I felt I got a lot more out of the books than I did the first time. I shipped old school Remus/Sirius much less this time around, but want to read about how they totally got together (possibly in a largely unhealthy way) during GoF/OotP. Alternately, some Remus/Tonks that has former Remus/Sirius in. Ladies and gentlemen, my priorities!

Then I re-read MARS. I like how many sociopaths are in that book. I mean, really. (It also deals with some serious shit remarkably well for a shoujo manga, I think. Although Masao still makes me sad.) I also really like how the actual MARS story in the MARS: Horse With No Name book is like ~it's about how Rei and Kira first met omg otp~ on the cover, but it's actually about Rei and Tatsuya's rad bromance.

Speaking of the MARS: Horse With No Name book, "A 1-Carat Fruit" makes me totally want to read a manga with that basic premise. (Boy and girl ~fall in love~, and then their parents get married to each other and it's awwwwwkwaaaard.~) That must exist. It must.

Now to decide if I'm re-reading Hot Gimmick and kind of hating myself, or Tramps Like Us and feeling largely awesome about myself. Decisions, decisions. (Or, I guess I could re-read what I have of Hana Yori Dango or NANA and then be sad I don't have the rest of the story, and will be forced to go buy tons of manga to ~finish the story~. Hmmm.) [edit: Apparently I am re-reading Hot Gimmick. lol stories where the least fucked up romance option is "dating your brother!"]

(WoW news: I am getting much better at making gold! Which is good, since I am largely a vendor shuffler, not an actual shuffler, so I'm going to be taking a big hit to my income if the change to uncommon cut vendor prices goes through in 4.1.)
