Firelands, realID groups, I do stuff other than WoW, it's just even more boring than this is

All six of our farm bosses down in three hours last night! Yay! Which is gonna give us a full six hours on Ragnaros this week, so hopefully we'll at least push phase 3. Hopefully. (Raid leader wants a kill, but that's raid leader.) Thursday's my scheduled night to sit out, so watch them get the kill that night, though. Ha.

(And because our DPS is so pro, we switched from 4 DPS downstairs and 1 on top of the web on Beth'tilac to 3 downstairs and 2 up top, and it went super well, and I had no real problems healing the four of us on top of the web and basically it was totally awesome!)

Anyway! Apparently RealID dungeon groups are out of beta and a free thing in WoW now! And I know a ton of you play, and play Alliance (sorry, I have very few Horde toons, and none of them I'm comfortable grouping on), but not on my server! Characters I have I'm comfortable grouping with would be: 85 holy paladin (ret spec is PvP now, so she's not available for heroic dungeon DPS), 85 enh/resto shaman (can heroic as enhance, normals only as resto) 70 shadow priest, 64 resto/balance druid. So, you know, if that sounds interesting and you want to be realID friends so we can group, comment and we can totes get that sorted out!

Sad, but understandable! It seems like a game that gets boring after a while. Yay grinding more gear for no reason! :D? :D? :(

For me, it was my 10 man group dying a slow and painful death to merged raid lockouts, the guild leader cutting back on play because she got moved and got pregnant, and the overall poor difficulty curve for early Cata raiding (composition uber alles on intro fights is a huge problem).

Yeah, I'm kind of glad they merged lockouts because it doesn't leave people feeling that they MUST raid a full 10m AND a full 25m (and this actually has prevented a lot of drama in the group I run with since the 10m was always much more progressed than the 25m they were a part of and the other 15 people would get all butthurt by the 10m's 10m progression.), but I can definitely see how this + guild XP/guild runs/whatever has caused a lot of groups to sort of... die. :(

Firelands seems much less punishing as far as comps go, but even when we do nerfed t11 for extra valor/gear for alts/off-specs we have to do some spec shuffling for some fights because we wind up with too much melee or not enough interrupts or something. Bleh.
