So today at work, I discovered my coworker brought in a NEW AMISH ROMANCE NOVEL that I have NOT YET READ. It is called White Christmas Pie, and it is exactly as amazing as that title makes it sound! The main character, Will, is the son of Englishers, but his father left him with an Amish family when he was six years old and never came back, and Will grew up raised by that family and is now a grown-up who is a member of the Amish church and everything. He is basically if Infinity Inc-era Todd Rice were a straight Amish dude. NO REALLY. See, this guy is engaged to his ladyfriend, but keeps being IRRATIONALLY JEALOUS of his ladyfriend's male friends and reacts by being a GIANT FAILBOT with a LOT OF FEELINGS.

At one point he spends like twice as much money at a horse auction as he should have just to spite the ladyfriend's male friend who was also bidding on it, and then is all butthurt that the male friend drove up the price. He also accuses said male friend of wildly outlandish things that that perfectly nice person clearly has not done. There is also a part where his fiancee is trying to keep a surprise birthday party a secret from him, and he gets all hilariously moody about her secrecy. This should actually kind of make me sad because he is clearly a horrible Bad Signs boyfriend in Real Life, but in the book I'm just sitting there going "Oh, you." And laughing at his over-the-top Feelings.

I didn't get to finish the book before work, but when I left, Will's biological dad had finally gotten in touch with his adoptive family and was coming to eat Thanksgiving dinner with the Amish family, and basically he and Will played I Have A Lot Of Feelings 20 questions and it was great. SO GREAT.

Today on WoW I was so scared of accidentally pulling mobs from the shoreline when I tried to swim from Westfall to Booty Bay that I accidentally got stuck in deep water and died of fatigue. [edit: Went back and did it properly after posting this. Picked up the Booty Bay flight point, but forgot to hop on the boat to Ratchet to pick up that flight point too before heading back. Like a dumbass.] Oops. Then I decided to do one of those "go talk to people" quests that sent me to Darkshire. Except someone spawned Stitches on the road right in front of me and every time I tried to go off the road to go around him, I'd get attacked by something, which held me up enough that I couldn't get around him. So I just gave up and hearthed back to the Exodar. I'll play tomorrow.

Neither of those two thing is as embarrassing as forgetting that healing people who are flagged PvP gets you flagged PvP, and that includes resurrecting them. By which I mean, I got killed by a level 80 in Stormwind the other day for exactly this reason. :(
