So, I was planning up this huge post about what I was thinking of doing at Echo Bazaar once I hit max level for all my Qualities (which is going to happen within a few days if I'm serious about doing only Shadowy and Dangerous things during that time). Do I grind Proscribed Texts to get Connections: the Masters, which I will end up only ruining by pursuing Mr. Eaten's Name? Do I grind connections up to 90, and if so, with which factions? (The Rubbery Men are a given, of course.) Do I save up for an Overgoat? Do I start playing Knife & Candle? Except, apparently, by the time all my stats hit 90, we'll probably be getting new content. Woo hoo.

Also, more Nemesis! \o/

I had no idea you could grind your connections up that high. Is something awesome supposed to happen if you do?

Knife and Candle is fun, but it has a bit of a skills gap (you gain new strategies as you level up in rank) in the middle bits where it's kind of frustrating. Although I'm sure it's less of a problem when all your Qualities are maxed out.

(Grinding Running Battle to kill Feducci about a billion times. I should send the guys at FBG a whetstone or something.)

Nothing really happens except you can't level it up anymore. It's really easy to end up with Connections: Society 90 if you max out your Persuasive, since basically everything in the Shuttered Palace gives you Connections: Society. It's the only one that's that high. I have The Church at 44 and the Constables at 55 and everything else is mostly in the 20s or lower. [note that I spent some of the 90 Fate I got from that weekend that got erased to unlock the Soul Trade, and if you take the path of restoring souls to people, the Church, Society, and Constables are basically the connections you end up getting a lot of once you reach Shepherd of Souls 5]

I'm currently grinding my Dangerous in lower levels with my Ridiculous Hat + Talkative Rattus Faber because I need to max out my Dangerous to finish up the Nemesis plot over in the Tomb Colony of Venderbight, but I've already got a Running Battle... going over there, so I can't duel because I'll forget I have to save it and will waste it killing Feducci or something.
