Last time I used the Random Dungeon Finder, it was really terrible, but tonight, it was great. First, SC and I got a group that basically tore through Scarlet Monastery Library in like ten minutes. Then we queued for Cathedral, and SC wound up on heals. (Which he finds boring, but queues as anyway for some unknown reason.) The tank was a third paladin, and then we had a shadow priest and a hunter, and basically it was a really awesome group, and afterward the tank asked if we wanted to stick together and do a random, so we did, and got the SM Armory, although sadly, Herod did not drop the shoulders I really wanted, but the satchel of helpful goods we got for doing a random was actually helpful, and I got my ♥axe♥.
So basically, I feel really useful and competent, I've only got 1/3 of an XP bar to go until I ding 40 (and get plate! and my fast ground mount! and start getting to put points into my mana replenishment talent FINALLY!), and my gear is starting to be mostly level appropriate! Also, I now have over 500 gold!
(Look at all that blue stuff! Yes, I know the trinket is bad, but it's better than no trinket. I know I should look into scoring one of the PvP trinkets, but to be honest, health regen is not the main problem I am having, and that's what the PvP Paladin trinket appears to be.)
[note to self: Tomorrow night, do some PvP honor farming to at least get these bracers, and maybe these boots.]
