lol WoW professions!

So, I have to take a Mining Day to get Honor's Mining skill up to Outland levels. (She can't even mine Thorium yet because I suck!) I don't really use Engineering at all, and have leveled it even less than my mining. How much will I hate myself if I tack on another few hours of mining/prospecting and switch over to Jewelcrafting? A lot, right?

...I'm probably gonna do it anyway. brb looking up jewelcrafting powerleveling guides

(edit: Unrelatedly! I was looking at Cata stuff on Wowhead last night, and Divine Shield will only last 8 seconds. THE END OF BUBBLE HEARTH? DDDDDD:)

(edit2: I am also so scared about everything I've heard about paladins in Cata. I like Honor. I don't want to have to get a new main because ret pallies are going to suck again. :\)

I gotta say, that is why I love skinning as a gathering profession. You don't have to go out of your way to level it AT ALL. You just kill stuff! And then skin it!

Admittedly, when I went to Outlands it sucked for a little bit because I was under-leveled on my skinning but once I got up to where I needed to be, it went as usual, without me thinking much about it. And when I went to Northrend, I hit max skinning by the time I hit 70.
