More from patch 4.0.1

So I think they dropped the hotfix for paladin damage or something? ANYWAY, here are more of my experiences with new paladins (and SC's experience).

1. RET IS SO MUCH FUN OMG. Once you get the hang of it, it is good times. Although I really wish Templar's Verdict had a cooler looking animation, because it does not look as FREAKING AWESOME as it is.

2. You can absolutely still solo 2-man quests pretty easily with a paladin. I did two of the three elites for the Nesingwary quests in Nagrand at 66 and basically all you have to do is use Seal of Truth for the Censure stacks and pop Word of Glory on yourself whenever you have three Holy Power, and you'll be fine.

3. WORD OF GLORY IS SO AMAZING.
3.5 Word of Glory for a prot paladin is EVEN MORE AMAZING with Eternal Glory and Guarded by the Light talents. Like, BROKEN good.

4. At level 64/65, SC was not having trouble holding aggro in Slave Pens/Underbog/Mana-Tombs as prot. This might differ in higher level instances when other people get stronger.

5. Avenger's Shield: RIDICULOUS GOOD.
5.5 By which I mean, as prot, SC was doing about 1400 DPS at level 65, easily surpassing the first DPS, and 28% of that was Avenger's Shield.

6. SO YEAH. We are actually pretty into the paladin changes now. SC picked up a ret off-spec for his tank, and I have picked up a Holy spec for Honor, although I'm kind of tempted to try to build a sort of experimental damage/PvP/Return of the Shockadin type thing in Holy just to see if it's even remotely viable.
