Today was a good day on WoW. On Honor, I finished the Kalu'ak questline in the Howling Fjord, so now I have both the BT and HF dailies I can do. (And, I guess, the Dragonblight one, but I find childstealing creepy.)
Then I decided to go dick around on my warrior a bit, and instead of questing, I decided, you know what? Screw it. I'm switching Mining out for Alchemy. (This is largely due to the fact that I've finally reached the point where getting gems for JC without a transmuter is... difficult, and transmuting will be fun! Plus: rage potions!) So I spent several hours herbing and fishing and alchemy-ing. Herbalism is strangely soothing, which is kind of funny, since it's not like it's significantly different from mining in actual gameplay, and yet you're just like "Yep. Pickin' flowers."
So then I logged out on the warrior and went back to Honor to fish up some mats for the warrior's alchemy, and one of my guildies was running bits of ZG for rep, and asking in gchat if anyone wanted to come for the raptor boss in case the mount dropped, since she already had it. So I got to do at least one boss fight of Zul'Gurub before it's going away! (The mount didn't drop, of course.) I would also like to get a chance to do the fishing boss at some point, but at least I got to do some of it. (Actually, I really really want to do a full clear before they take it out, but ehhhh. I am such a bad maybe that's a bad plan. I guess I could ask my guildie. Provided she doesn't realize I'm such a bad because I kept letting my health get really low during said boss fight.)
However, now I am a bit confused about the whole raid lockout, getting saved to raids thing. By which I mean, what does that even mean? And where can I see what raids I have lock outs for. Or whatever.
Also, um, I am not super in love with Dragonblight so far, even though I know it is where all the ~Wrathgate~ stuff is. Will I like it better when I get to the part where I go to the Wyrmrest Temple and hang out with the red dragonflight? Also, perhaps I am missing quests? I only have like three quests in Dragonblight to do right now. Am I missing a quest hub other than Wyrmrest Temple, or is everything in this zone just long quest chains? (I've done all the Mo'aki Harbor quests, am working on Star's Rest quests, and Wintergarde Keep only had one group quest available, which I have not yet done.) Or should I try Grizzly Hills instead? Or is Grizzly Hills worse? LOOK, I JUST WANT TO GET SOME "KILL 6 OF THESE THINGS" QUESTS SOMETIMES.
edit Also, while I was dicking around in STV on Honor, some stuff dropped that was perfect for my Warrior. So now she has ridiculous pants! Armor!
