Demolitionst Legoso is my new boyfriend, y'all
I couldn't find anyone to run Ending Their World/Clearing the Way with, so I ended up soloing them and pulling them both off on my first try. I'm kind of proud of myself, even though it's a level 20 group quest and I waited until Level 22* to do it, and paladins are pretty good at soloing two-person group quests, and the NPC basically escorts you. The only real issue with soloing it is that it's a pretty serious mana drain. I went through hella milk and mana potions. Actually, what I'm mostly proud of is that I got credit for enough kills that I actually managed to finish Clearing the Way while I did Ending Their World and didn't have to go back to get a few extra or anything. \o/
I am pretty sure I just hit the peak glee of this game, though. After you pull off the quest, basically all the NPCs from Azuremyst and Bloodmyst show up and throw a party for you and you get a ton of rewards, and I am so happy with my tabard. (I'm not wearing/using a lot of the quest rewards because SC already sent me some better gear, which actually kind of makes me sad, but that's okay!) On the plus side, wow, I have such a sense of completion now. I can truly move on in the world as an adventurer!
Hilariously, when I went back to Vindicator's Rest to turn in the Clearing the Way quest right after I got my tabard from Velen, there was someone starting up this quest solo. If I'd only waited a half-hour I would have had a group to do this with.
*Technically I fought Sironas at level 23, since I leveled up in the middle of the quest

I, too, love that the goggles have an armor rating. Sadly, I'm eventually going to have to swap them out for a helmet once my character starts being high level enough to wear one because both the goggles and the helmet would be equipped in the same slot. :( Now how will people know my character is an engineer?
