Secret Canadian and I got ahold of the Arkham Horror board game. I'm not 100% in love with it, because it has a fairly complex rule set, so we spent most of our "let's try this out" session yesterday reading and re-reading the rule book, and also because I am sorry, but there should be at least one lady with a 7 Stamina, people. It's not like Stamina affects your ability to hit things, just your ability to take a hit, oh whatever. Anyway. I wound up playing the gangster for part of the game and he was pretty great. (The author: Less great and got devoured!)

I don't know, we'll see if I like it any better once we're a little more secure about the rules and play a proper sized game where you don't get overwhelmed three turns in.

I think the best part of this game is that you are really not supposed to win (although it's possible) and yet we are already sitting around trying to min/max this stuff. Really? Really?

(In other news, I think he is still trying to convince me to start playing World of Warcraft. I don't need another hobby that eats my life, you guys.)
